A new morning has come to Pine Valley. Across town, Mia is sitting down in her new office at Enchantment. She lets out a calming sigh, as she wipes her hands across the desk.

MIA: (sighs) I’m back Pine Valley. Full throttle.

There is then a knock at the door. Mia stands, and comes out from behind her desk, and leans on her desk.

MIA: Come in!

The door opens, and a well tailored man, enters.

MIA: Hello Co-CEO!

ANNOUNCER: The role of Peter Cortlandt is now being played by, Robert Scott Wilson.

PETER: Hello, Mia.

At Tad and Dixie’s Home, Dixie comes down the stairs. She puts her purse on her shoulder, as she walks into the living room. Tad turns around.

DIXIE: Hey, honey. Are you ready to go see JR yet, so we can talk to him?

TAD: Actually, I’m not ready yet.

DIXIE: Why not?

TAD: Because, I wanted to talk.

DIXIE: About?

TAD: I found a pregnancy test in the bathroom trashcan. It had a negative on it. That is the third negative through a pregnancy test. Are you okay, honey?

At Pine Valley Memorial, Opal walks up to Joe.

OPAL: Joe, hey. Do you gotta second?

JOE: Um…, you know what? Yeah. The doctor has to go over Ruth’s medications with her. So, what is up, Opal?

OPAL: I wanted to talk to you.

JOE: About?

OPAL: My child. Diane.

At Erica’s Penthouse, Erica looks out the window, as Jackson comes down the stairs, looping his belt around his waist. Erica turns around.

ERICA: (kissing Jackson) Good morning, my love.

JACKSON: Good morning.

ERICA: I’m glad that you came downstairs when you did.

JACKSON: Why is that?

ERICA: Because, I wanted to talk to you.

JACKSON: About what?

ERICA: You moving in.

At the Pine Valley Inn, Lily is standing in the corner of the ballroom, with a clipboard. It is made apparent that she is organizing some last minute decisions for the 1st Annual Sunrise Flowers Gala. She is on her phone.

LILY: Just do your half of the list with AJ. Emma I promise you guys will get it done in time. Alright, talk to you soon. Bye.

As she walks over to place seating cards at tables, Greenlee walks up behind her.

GREENLEE: Hey sis.

LILY: Hey!

Lily and Greenlee embrace.

LILY: What brings you here? The gala isn’t until tonight.

GREENLEE: I thought I would come down and help. Plus, I need some sister to sister conversation. Woman to woman.

LILY: I know what you mean.

GREENLEE: Do you?

LILY: Let’s just get talking, I guess.

Back at Fusion Offices, Peter shuts the door.

MIA: I am so happy that you are here. We can finally get some work done.

PETER: I cannot thank you enough for giving me this job.

MIA: Pete I knew that you would be right for the job.

PETER: Thanks for that. When I last saw you, I was still in high school.

MIA: Yes, you were. Now, you are this hard working man.

PETER: (laughs) Yeah.

MIA: So, does your mother know you are home?

PETER: I plan to see her tonight. Surprise her.

MIA: I’m sure she would love that.

PETER: Yeah. I meant to show up when she had all the issues with her brain tumor. However, she just wanted me to stay there, and not worry.

MIA: I did too. Opal always was very nice to me.

PETER: My mom is that kind of woman.

MIA: Yes, she is. Anyways, let’s get to work.

PETER: (laughs) Let’s!

Back at Tad and Dixie’s Home, Dixie takes her purse off her shoulder, and throws it on the couch. She also let’s out a sigh.

DIXIE: (sighs) Everything is fine. And, I didn’t want to tell you, because I did not want to make you upset. I know that you are so on board with this whole baby thing.

TAD: Honey, you would not have made me upset.

DIXIE: I love you.

TAD: I love you too. Do you still want to try?

DIXIE: Yeah, I do.

TAD: Then, we will try. We will try for as long as you want. I will be there for you, just like in the past. I promise you that.

DIXIE: I love you, Thaddeus James Martin.

TAD: I love you too, Dixie Michelle Cooney Martin.

The two laugh, as Dixie falls into Tad’s loving arms.

Back in the Pine Valley Inn ballroom, Greenlee and Lily have finished putting the place cards on the tables. Greenlee and Lily sit down.

LILY: So, let me get this straight. Ryan married Gillian. They loved one another. Gillian was shot. Died. Heart transplant. She is back via David’s Orpheus project, and now you think she is after Ryan?

GREENLEE: I do think that. I totally do.

LILY: All because you two had a throw down?

GREENLEE: (sighs) I knew Gillian before she passed away, and I know what she is capable of. Everyone let’s her do the goody girl act.

LILY: Listen, I will back you up. She will not split you and Ryan up.

GREENLEE: (sighs) Enough about me. Let’s talk about you. You said you were having a crush.

LILY: I am crushing.

GREENLEE: On who?

LILY: Peter Cortlandt.

GREENLEE: Is he back in town?

LILY: Yeah. He is.

GREENLEE: Are you gonna go get you man, so to speak?

LILY: (laughs) I plan to.

Back at Erica’s Penthouse, Erica and Jackson walk over to the couch, together. The two sit down, sitting straight up.

ERICA: I hope you share the same feelings that I do.

JACKSON: I do.

ERICA: Do you really?

JACKSON: Yes. I would love to move in with you.

ERICA: I am so happy you feel that way.

JACKSON: Now, can I ask you something?

ERICA: Yes.

JACKSON: Is this gonna be the last time we go at this?

Back at Pine Valley Hospital, Opal and Joe are walking down the hallway.

JOE: So, you want to reveal that you have another child to your family?

OPAL: Yes.

JOE: Do you think that is a good idea?

OPAL: Here is the thing, I got to thinking when I told Erica what was going on. I decided that the only way I can move on from this is to say this secret out loud to my family.

JOE: I will be there every step of the way.

OPAL: Thank you.

As Opal and Joe go into a hug, Ruth comes around the corner. She decides to hold back, and she watches Joe and Opal hug.
