Night is still upon Pine Valley. At Pine Valley Hospital, Kendall and Zach are sitting by Spike’s bedside, as he is still sleeping.

KENDALL: I just don’t know what he was thinking.

ZACH: I don’t either.

KENDALL: I mean my God. Drugs. Out of all things.

ZACH: Hey, why don’t we let him finish resting, and we will go grab some dinner. Just the two of us. I know Ian is with a study group.

KENDALL: (sighs) Okay. Yeah.

As Kendall and Zach walk out of the hospital room. They are stopped by Cara.

CARA: What the hell were you two thinking?!

At Ryan and Greenlee’s Apartment, Greenlee stands from the couch.

GILLIAN: David is after me. He is searching and searching. I just knew I had to make a correct choice. So, I came back here.

RYAN: That was wise, because I have something to ask you.

GILLIAN: What is that?

RYAN: How are you alive without a heart?

GREENLEE: Maybe, she is not who she says she is.

At the Martin Home, Ruth comes down the stairs. She is dressed for the night.

RUTH: Joe! Sweetheart!

She walks up to the coffee table where there is a note that reads:

Had to stay late at the hospital. Love you.

RUTH: Some things never change.

Ruth lets out a sigh, and heads to the kitchen. In the kitchen she begins making tea. While filling the glass up with water, she starts to hold her chest.

RUTH: Oh, goodness. That hurt.

She ignores the jolt of pain, and walks to get a tea bag. Before she gets one out the pain increases. It increases so much that she throws the tea cup off the table, and hits her head, and falls down to the floor. She holds her chest.

RUTH: Oh god. I’m having a heart attack. Someone….someone….someone help!

At ConFusion, David takes a small sip of his beer. Krystal crosses her legs.

DAVID: So, are we together?

KRYSTAL: David, there is a ton more to factor in than just that question. We have not even discuss what we did.

DAVID: Are you talking about how I kissed you all over your body.

KRYSTAL: Please, try and keep your voice down.

DAVID: Why? Are you afraid that someone might ask us if they can watch?

At a Hidden Location, JR is still shackled to the wall.

JR: Help! Help! Someone help me!

A guard enters.

GUARD: Hey, shut up!

JR: Why?

GUARD: Because, I said so.

JR: Once I get out of here, you and Hayward are gonna pay. So, you have two choices. A, you can help me. Or B, you can be prosecuted for your crimes. You choice, buddy.

Back at Pine Valley Hospital, Kendall, Zach, and Cara step over to the side of the hospital, so they are not blocking anyone.

KENDALL: Cara, are you telling us that Spike and Oliver shared cocaine?

CARA: Yes. What kind of parents are you?

ZACH: Whoa, whoa, whoa. This was not our faults. However, you are judging us as parents. Yes, we should have paid more attention. But, how dare you.

CARA: My son came home, and got very sick. Very sick. I bring him here, and give him scans myself. Then, I learn drugs are inside of him. Then, he tells me that he got his high from your son! Your son! Yes, my son is at fault here, for taking those drugs. But, you better believe I will judge you as parents.

KENDALL: What about you Cara? What kind of mother are you? You judge my husband and I for not knowing what goes on in our children’s lives, but yet, you didn’t know what was going on in Olver’s life. Therefore, you share all the blame that you put on us.

ZACH: Listen, I’m gonna go see if Spike is up.

KENDALL: Okay.

Zach walks back into Spike’s room.

KENDALL: If we could move past what is going on at the moment, I have a question for you. How is Griff settling into Doctors Without Borders?

CARA: He is doing good.

KENDALL: I’m glad to hear it.

CARA: Listen, I didn’t mean to go after you and Zach like that. I’m just...I’m just so very confused, as to why my child did this.

KENDALL: I am too. I am so confused as to why this happened.

CARA: Where did our little boys go?

KENDALL: I wonder that everyday.

Back at ConFusion, Krystal slaps David’s right hand.

KRYSTAL: Gosh, you can be so slimy sometimes.

DAVID: Yeah, well, if I wasn’t, it would not be me.

KRYSTAL: Good point. David, I’m not sure that I ready to be involved in a relationship. Not just because it is you, but because of everything going on.

DAVID: You mean because of JR?

KRYSTAL: Yes, I do.

DAVID: Krystal, do not be scared to live your life.

KRYSTAL: Shouldn’t I be? I participated in a plan to replace JR Chandler with an exact lookalike of himself. An exact lookalike who is set to tear apart his life, so you can finally take your revenge.

DAVID: I have everything under control, where JR and Kevin are factored in. You do not have to worry about this imposter at all. Krystal, you can live your life. You can be who you want to be, without having to look over your shoulder. So, will you be who you want to be? Will you be with me?

KRYSTAL: David, do you promise that you have this under control?

DAVID: Scouts honor.

KRYSTAL: Then…

DAVID: Yes?

KRYSTAL: Looks like we are once again an item.

DAVID: Krystal Carey, you just made me the happiest man on earth.

KRYSTAL: Let’s see where this goes.

DAVID: Let’s.

David and Krystal kiss passionately

Back at Ryan and Greenlee’s Apartment, Ryan comes down the stairs.

GREENLEE: Did she settle into the guest room?

RYAN: Yeah. Are you okay with Gillian staying?

GREENLEE: Ryan, I just do not have the energy to care anymore. She says she is Gillian, and that David constructed her a new heart. I believe her, because I just cannot take anymore right now. Okay?

RYAN: Okay. Greenlee, if you…

GREENLEE: Ryan, just don’t. Please. It’s late. I’m gonna go to bed.

RYAN: I love you.

GREENLEE: Sure you do.

Greenlee walks up the small steps. Ryan let’s out a sigh.

Back at the Hidden Location, the guard steps into JR’s cell fully.

GUARD: How clever do you think you are?

JR: Clever enough.

GUARD: You do not hold any cards here, Mr. Chandler. You are chained to a wall, while some other man lives your life.

JR: I happen to know that Hayward is paying you quite the pretty penny. However, I can double that. Hell, I can even triple that.

GUARD: What are you saying?

JR: New deal. I’ll just give you a pretty lifestyle. You won’t ever have to face charges for this crime. What do you say? You with me.

The guard stares at JR, as he is thinking about the intriguing offer.

Back at the Martin Home, Ruth is lying on the floor. She is trying her best to get to her cell phone which also dropped on the floor.

RUTH: Come on. Almost there.

Then, Joe enters the home.

JOE: Ruth! Are you still up, darling?!

RUTH: In here, Joe! Help me!

Joe rushes into the kitchen. He sees Ruth, and goes to her.

RUTH: Joe, I’m having a heart attack.

Joe immediately gets his phone out, and dials 9-1-1.

JOE: I’m calling an ambulance. It is okay, honey.

RUTH: Joe.

JOE: Yes, dear?

RUTH: I think I’m dying.
