Night has fallen upon Pine Valley. At Liza and Caleb’s Apartment, Liza puts her keys into the door to unlock it. She then walks in, as Caleb enters.

LIZA: (hugging Caleb) Hey honey.

CALEB: Hey. Are you okay?

Liza and Caleb come off of their hug.

LIZA: Not really.

CALEB: What’s going on?

LIZA: I discovered who shot me.

At the Pine Valley Cazzette, Brooke and Adam enter. The elevator doors ding, and they step out. They go up to Laura’s office, because they see Miguel and Laura going over layouts for their first edition in the morning. Brooke and Adam barge in.

ADAM: Miguel, we need to talk.

BROOKE: Right now.

MIGUEL: Excuse me, we are in the middle of work. This can wait.

LAURA: Miguel, who are these people?

MIGUEL: This is my father. Adam.

At Ryan and Greenlee’s Apartment, Ryan and Greenlee are curled up on the couch.

GREENLEE: I’m happy that we got some time to ourselves, tonight.

RYAN: It was much needed.

GREENLEE: It truly was.

RYAN: Hey, I love you. I always will.

Greenlee then kisses Ryan passionately. Upon doing this, there is a knock at the door.

GREENLEE: Don’t answer that.

The knocking persist anyways, and gets louder.

RYAN: Okay, maybe I should.

Ryan gets up, and walks over to the door.

RYAN: (opening the door) Oh my god.

GILLIAN: Ryan, I need your help.

At Tad and Dixie’s Home, Tad and Dixie are sitting on the couch.

TAD: So, what do you think is going on with JR?

Tad sits up more intrigued.

DIXIE: I only have one guess.

TAD: What is that one guess?

DIXIE: I think my son has fallen off the wagon. I think JR is drinking again.

TAD: You believe that JR is drinking again?

DIXIE: Tad, the way JR was acting today is the way I have seen him act when he is drunk. That is mostly avoiding me, so I won’t figure it out.

TAD: Do you think this is worth checking?

DIXIE: Yeah, I do. For my son’s sake. I do.

At ConFusion, Krystal and David are sitting at the bar. Krystal has a martini, and David has a beer in a glass.

KRYSTAL: Thank you for meeting me.

DAVID: Yeah...no problem. I just felt that we had to talk.

KRYSTAL: We do. But, before we do, I have a question.

DAVID: What is that?

KRYSTAL: (whispering) How is the real JR?

At the Slater Home, Spike walks in the door. Kendall enters.

KENDALL: Hey buddy. There you are. Listen, we were just about to go get some ice cream. Would you like to come with us?

SPIKE: I’m...I’m...I’m good.

KENDALL: Honey, are you okay?

SPIKE: I...I…

KENDALL: Spike?

Spike’s eyes are blurry from getting high. He does not know what is going on, nor what to think. He gets very dizzy, and faints.

KENDALL: (racing to his side) Oh my gosh. Spike! Spike!

Back at Liza and Caleb’s Apartment, Liza pours herself a glass of water.

CALEB: So, an old client who you defended in a case shot you?

LIZA: Yes, because I could not convict the man who did the crime to her.

CALEB: So, is this bitch going to prison?

LIZA: No.

CALEB: Why the hell not?! She shot my wife!

LIZA: I talked to Jesse. He is getting rid of every charge.

CALEB: Why would you do that?

LIZA: Because, she went through something I did!

CALEB: What did she do? Steal a candy bar as a child?

LIZA: No, she was raped.

CALEB: What? You’ve been raped?

LIZA: Gosh, it is crazy how I have never told you. But...yeah. Tomorrow, it will be 33 years since I was raped by a truck driver.

CALEB: Liza, honey. How come you never disclosed this to me?

LIZA: Because, I still feel ashamed. I still feel guilty for what happened. My god (sniffles) it has been 33 years since this happened to me. I think about it, but I don’t talk about it. I don’t talk about being a innocent hitchhiker, and then being stripped down by a scum bag. I just do not go near that part of my life.

CALEB: Liza, you can tell me anything. You know that. I will always be here to help you through anything. Nothing will stop me from that.

LIZA: I just wanted to give Katrina a break. We all do things that we do not think are possible after we have gone through a tragic situation. Hell, I even accused Jesse of raping me, because we could not find this truck driver for a very long time.

CALEB: Gosh, I am so sorry. What happened when you did find him?

LIZA: The charges were dropped against Jesse. And, this truck driver, Tom, went through an arraignment, and was released on a bail of 3,000 dollars. He got out in a week.

CALEB: So, this guy never served a sentence in prison for what he did to you?

LIZA: Nope. Just a week in county lock up.

CALEB: Come here.

Liza and Caleb hug, as Liza begins to quietly sob in his arms. Caleb strokes her hair, and begins to politely shush her.

CALEB: Everything is okay.

LIZA: I hope so.

CALEB: It is. It is. Shhh. Shhh.

Back at Tad and Dixie’s Home, Tad and Dixie are curled up on the couch.

TAD: Do you think he is actually going to admit that he is drinking?

DIXIE: I don’t know. I really don’t know.

Then, there is a knock at the door. Dixie gets up.

DIXIE: I’ll get it.

TAD: I’m gonna go get ready for bed.

DIXIE: Okay, be there soon.

Tad walks up the stairs, as Dixie goes to answer the door.

DIXIE: (opening the door) Kathy.

ANNOUNCER: The role of Kathy Martin is now being played by, Kate Mansi.

KATHY: Hi mama.

DIXIE: (laughs) Oh my god! You’re back from boarding school!

Kathy and Dixie embrace.

Back at the Pine Valley Cazzette, in Laura’s Office, Laura closes a binder of the layout, and files it away quickly.

MIGUEL: So, you have interrupted my work for today. Even though, Laura and I have so much to do. What can be so important?

ADAM: Brooke and I want to know what you are planning.

MIGUEL: What do you mean?

BROOKE: Why are you here Miguel? Why are you laying down roots here?

LAURA: You know what? I am very hungry. So, I think I’m just gonna go.

Laura grabs her purse, and walks out.

MIGUEL: Okay, now you are scaring off employees. Great!

ADAM: Cut the crap. Talk, son.

MIGUEL: Listen, I heard you were sick. I laid out why I was here. However, you accused me of wanting to take over the CEO position at Chandler.

BROOKE: Who wouldn’t? I mean for the love of Mary and Joseph, you show up after all this time. It has been 22 years. You did not even show up to give JR his bone marrow transplant, even though you were a perfect match.

MIGUEL: This family has disowned me for 22 years. I wasn’t gonna give my so called brother a bone marrow transplant.

ADAM: You know what? I don’t care. I just want you to know that Brooke and I will have constant eyes on you. Don’t forget that. We will be watching you.

BROOKE: And that...what is her name? Oh yeah, Laura.

MIGUEL: You two can watch me and Laura all you want.

BROOKE: We will be. Let’s go Adam.

ADAM: Sounds good.

As Brooke and Adam walk out, Miguel let’s out a sigh.

Back at ConFusion, the bartender gives Krystal another martini.

DAVID: JR is doing fine. Just fine.

KRYSTAL: Good. Let’s keep it that way.

DAVID: He knows, now. He knows that there is an imposter of him, and he knows that I have orchestrated the whole entire thing.

KRYSTAL: Do you think that was wise?

DAVID: I had to tell him everything. One of the guards slipped.

KRYSTAL: What does that mean for Kevin?

DAVID: Means he has to step up his game. Now, enough about this whole imposter thing. I want to talk about us. I have a big question for you.

KRYSTAL: What?

DAVID: Are we a so called item, now?

Back at Ryan and Greenlee’s Apartment, Greenlee stands as Ryan closes the door, and Gillian enters the home.

GREENLEE: You bitch.

RYAN: Greenlee!

GILLIAN: Hello, Greenlee. Long time no see. What brought that on?

GREENLEE: Really? You come back into our lives, and you run away, and do all this stuff. That includes worrying my husband sick. Now, you show up here, and you say you need Ryan’s help. What the hell is wrong with you?

GILLIAN: David is after me. He is searching and searching. I just knew I had to make a correct choice. So, I came back here.

RYAN: That was wise, because I have something to ask you.

GILLIAN: What is that?

RYAN: How are you alive without a heart?

At Pine Valley Hospital, the elevator doors open, as Zach walks out, and walks over to Kendall. Kendall is waiting to hear about Spike.

ZACH: Honey, fill me in.

KENDALL: I’m not sure what happened. Really. He came home, we were getting ready for ice cream. He was acting odd. Then, he got dizzy and fainted. I brought him here to see Angie, because of his past health crisis.

ZACH: Has Angie said anything?

KENDALL: Not yet.

Then, Angie walks up to them.

KENDALL: Angie, thank God. What the heck is going on?

ZACH: Is Spike okay?

ANGIE: He is fine. However, what we found from his CT Scan was completely shocking to me. And, it might be shocking to you.

ZACH: What is it?

ANGIE: Like I said, it is very shocking. The reason Spike fainted was because he is currently high on the drug of cocaine.

Kendall and Zach are completely shocked.
