Night has still fallen upon Pine Valley. The rain is still striking the citizens. At Opal’s Home, a loud clap of thunder is heard, as Opal stands, and begins to pace.

Joe stands after her.

JOE: No one knows. No one knows about this secret. No one knows! Not Tad, Peter, hell not even Palmer ever knew.

OPAL: It will stay that way.

JOE: So you never want anyone to know that you have a daughter?

OPAL: No. And, it will stay that way.

JOE: Opal, this is a one shot deal here. Diane I am sure will be willing to come back, if you just pick up the phone, and call.

OPAL: I have not seen that girl since I gave birth to her at the age of sixteen. She was adopted by a nice family. I should just leave it alone.

JOE: I don’t think you can.

At Greenlee and Ryan’s Apartment, Ryan enters the home. He lets out a sigh, as Greenlee walks down the stairs.

GREENLEE: There you hard. I waited so long for you.

RYAN: (kissing Greenlee) Sorry that I wasn’t home sooner.

GREENLEE: So, is this all true? Is it true that Gillian has been brought back from the dead, via David’s Orpheus project?

RYAN: According to a DNA test, it is true. But, Laura got Gillian’s heart when she died, and now Gillian is missing.

At Krystal’s Home, Krystal goes to the door, when she hears a knock.

KRYSTAL: What are you doing here?

DAVID: I’m here to talk.

KRYSTAL: About…?

DAVID: Marissa. Our daughter.

At Erica’s Penthouse, Erica shuts the door, as Joshua enters.

ERICA: (sighs) You want to know if you have a shot at redemption?

JOSHUA: I do.

ERICA: Redemption is what you make it. You have to want it. I or anyone else is not going to just give redemption to you. Not gonna happen.

JOSHUA: Listen, I am sorry for what I did. But, I was forced to do that.

ERICA: Bull! You went along with Annie’s plan to destroy Pine Valley. The only reason you are roaming free is because you gave up information.

JOSHUA: Erica, I never meant to hurt anyone.

ERICA: You did. Hell, you even hurt your own family. Annie made me drink alcohol. She drugged Kendall, and knocked her unconscious. Bianca lost her wife of six years. You might be out of prison, but you get to live with what you did, the rest of your life.

At Krystal’s Diner, Emma and AJ are splitting a plate of fries, and are sitting at the bar. They are looking at some files.

EMMA: I am so happy that we can sign a Chandler name to Lily’s autism organization. It means a lot to us that you decided to come on board.

ANNOUNCER: The role of AJ Chandler is now being played by, Drew Garrett.

AJ: I am happy to do it.

EMMA: Now, did Lily send you that member contract?

AJ: Yes. And, it is signed, sealed, and delivered.

EMMA: Wonderful.

As Emma reaches for a fry, so does AJ. Their hands meet, and they look up at one another, and smile gracefully.

At the Chandler Mansion, a the sound of thunder booms throughout. Adam walks down the stairs, and into the living room. He pours himself a glass of scotch. He thinks about when he told Brooke about his disease.

(FLASHBACK)

BROOKE: (crying) What about me? What am I supposed to do? If I don’t have you, I have nothing. I need you, Adam. Forget this divorce. I will tear up those papers. I need you.

ADAM: Don’t tear up those papers, if you don’t want to. You do whatever you need to do in your heart. You do the right thing.

Adam un-pushes the STOP button, and the elevator continues to descend to the parking garage.

ADAM: I love you. I always will.

(PRESENT TIME)

Adam lets out a sigh, as he hears the doorbell ring. He guzzles down the last bit of scotch, slams the glass down, and walks off to answer the door.

ADAM: Hello, can I help you.

MAN: (turning around) Hello, dad.

ADAM: Oh my goodness.

ANNOUNCER: The role of Miguel Reyes is now being played by, David Fumero.

Back at Erica’s Penthouse, Erica tightens her robe more; as Joshua puts his hands on his waist, and lets out a sigh.

JOSHUA: Annie is a more fault for those things.

ERICA: You helped her every step of the way.

JOSHUA: I didn’t drug Kendall. I didn’t plant the bomb that killed Marissa. I didn’t put vodka in your drinks. That was all Annie.

ERICA: You were ready to give her a child that belonged to Greenlee. Greenlee has lost her baby because of you. The stress made her miscarry.

JOSHUA: I know that! I know! I know all of this.

ERICA: Then why the hell did you do it?!

JOSHUA: To get back at everybody!

Erica slaps Joshua.

ERICA: How dare you try and justify these devastating events! Joshua, I do not know how you could ever expect redemption from this.

Erica walks to the door, and opens it.

ERICA: Get out.

JOSHUA: Mom.

ERICA: Don’t. Just leave.

JOSHUA: (sighs) Fine. But, I will have redemption.

Joshua walks out of Erica’s Penthouse. As Erica shuts the door, she cannot help but hold back tears. She sits on the couch, and ponders what to do in the future about all of her children.

Back at ConFusion, Emma lets out a slight laugh that is filled with nerves. Her and AJ back their hands away from one another.

EMMA: I guess that two great minds think alike.

AJ: I guess so. I apologize if that was awkward.

EMMA: Not at all. Not even an ounce of awkwardness.

AJ: Anyways, when is the gala?

EMMA: In about three weeks. We just want to make sure we get the right people booked down from food to drinks. We want to make this a great thing. The better it is, the more money will come our way.

AJ: Good point. (checking his phone) Hey my dad just texted me. Wants me to go look at a few ideas for his new apartment. Says he wants to make it a father/son thing. (standing) So, I guess I will see you later.

EMMA: Okay. Yeah. Sure.

AJ: Alright. Seya Emma.

EMMA: Bye, AJ.

AJ walks off, as Emma grabs a fry.

EMMA: Should have made a move.

Back at Krystal’s Home, Krystal and David are sitting on the couch having wine.

KRYSTAL: She was such a sweet and passionate girl.

DAVID: So much life ahead of her.

KRYSTAL: (pouring another glass) (laughing) This is too funny.

DAVID: What?

KRYSTAL: We practically hate one another, but yet so much is bringing us together this past year. A doppelganger, the death of our daughter, and even the discussion of Babe and Marissa. It is very strange to me how much we connect.

DAVID: Krystal, I’m sorry that I hurt you. Not bringing back Babe…

KRYSTAL: Please don’t. I don’t want to discuss that. I forgive you for that. I am still going to keep your Kevin secret.

DAVID: Thank you. (sighs) I wish we would have lasted longer.

David and Krystal smile slightly at one another.

KRYSTAL: I wish we would have too. But, other things just got in the way.

DAVID: Me.

KRYSTAL: Me.

DAVID: I still love you. I always will.

KRYSTAL: I don’t think our love for one another ever went away.

DAVID: I don’t think either.

Krystal goes to pour David another glass, but the bottle is empty.

KRYSTAL: Dead soldier so to speak.

David lets out a slight laugh. The two look at one another with smiles, as passion begins to overtake them. They then kiss passionately.

Back at Opal’s Home, Opal sets the teacups back on the tea cart to be washed for later. She then turns back to Joe.

OPAL: Joe, I have went so many years without Diane in my life. I think I can survive the rest of it without her, as well.

JOE: Opal, you are one of the strongest women I have ever known. Do not let this go on. You should have Diane now more than ever.

OPAL: Because of my health? I have hit plenty of health snags in my day.

JOE: This one almost killed you.

OPAL: My paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia can kill me. Feeling that pain in my chest can get so bad to the point of a heart attack. I have had two. I’m still standing. And, without Diane. I’m doing fine.

JOE: Why do you want to hide this?

OPAL: Because!..., Because it does not need to be anyone’s business. I told you, because I was on the brink of death. I no longer am.

Then, Joe’s pager beeps. He checks it, and puts it back in his pocket.

JOE: I’ve gotta go. But, I hope you think about what I said.

OPAL: Goodbye.

JOE: Goodbye. Have a good night.

OPAL: You too.

Joe walks out. Opal then goes to her phone. She goes to her photos, and clicks on a baby photo of Diane.

OPAL: (sighs) Opal…, what do you do? What do you do?

Back at the Chandler Mansion, Adam lets Miguel enter. The two walk into the living room, after Adam shuts the door.

ADAM: JR survived without your bone marrow by the way.

MIGUEL: Had a feeling you would bring that up.

ADAM: Well, you are the one who shows up here. Do not expect me to not bring up what you did. Anyways, how are you?

MIGUEL: Good.

ADAM: Did Brooke call you? I can only assume.

MIGUEL: She did. I know what is going on.

ADAM: So, you couldn’t bother to donate bone marrow to save JR’s life. So, what brings you by now? I can’t wait to hear this.

MIGUEL: Since I was your illegitimate child, I felt as though I never got a chance to really show my true colors as a Chandler man.

ADAM: What are you saying Miguel?

MIGUEL: I am here to claim what is rightfully mine.

At Ryan and Greenlee’s Apartment, Greenlee is staring out the window. She is watching the rain come on down.

GREENLEE: (sighs) When they find you Gillian, I will not let you ruin my marriage. You will not win. I will always have Ryan. I guarantee you that.

***FADE OUT***
